Privacy Policy — Still

Still (“the App”) compresses photos and videos locally on your device. Your selected media is not uploaded to our servers.

Media and on-device data

Selected media: Photos and videos are processed locally for compression.
Metadata: EXIF and color-profile metadata may be preserved or removed according to your settings.
App state: Preferences, Pro entitlement state, free-output balance, and rewarded-ad history are stored on your device.

Still does not require an account and does not receive your payment-card details.

Optional rewarded advertising

Free users may voluntarily watch a rewarded advertisement to receive additional output credits. Still uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google’s User Messaging Platform for advertising and privacy choices.

Depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Google’s configuration, Google may process:

IP address and approximate location derived from it;
device or app identifiers, including the advertising identifier when permitted;
advertising data and interactions, such as ad impressions and video views;
diagnostic, crash, and performance information.

This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, prevent abuse, and improve advertising services. Still never sends the photo or video you are compressing to Google for advertising.

Rewarded ads are optional. You can use the daily free allowance or Still Pro without watching an ad.
Where required, the App asks for advertising consent before requesting an ad.
When applicable, you can reopen your choices from Settings → Privacy choices.
Still does not currently request permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
You can revoke Photos access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

Purchases

In-App Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

Retention

App preferences and local working data remain on your device until removed by you, the App’s retention controls, or deletion of the App. Third-party processing is governed by the provider’s own retention and privacy terms.
